We take our dog to the Yorkshire Dales with us, lots of beautiful places to walk her safely without the crowds, Fountains Abbey, Bolton Abbey, The Pickering railway allows you to take your dog on the train as long as you don't let them on the seat, great places in the Dales for all the family as well as the dog, most of the dog friendly places in the Dales provide bowls of water for you dog too just in case you forget to take some water with you.

The park to run like crazy (on leash) and play. And I take mine to PetSmart once a week or so to socialize with both dogs and people. (She's a 4 mo. old chow chow and is super friendly to everyone because of the socializing.)

How on earth would a dog realise it was being taken out for the day? And can it appreciate it? Take a human on a day out.

I take mine to the park for a romp then stop by Sonic for a double cheeseburger. She doesn't like the pickles, though.

I'm sure if you asked her she'd say the beach! I prefer to take her up on the moors! Less water and no sand to roll in when she's wet!
