I'm looking for a bday gift for a male friend. He drinks Rum (no idea what kind), loves Soccer, and is a Police Officer.

OK...just found out he only drinks white Rum....usually Barcardi. I can't get 10 Cane in Ontario, it would seem. Keep those suggestions coming!

My personal favorite Premium Rum is 10 Cane. It's kind of like the Grey Goose of Rum.

There are many good rums out there, alot of it depends on personal taste. 10 Cane is very good, so is Pyrat.
There are so many different types, find out what type he likes, (spiced, dark, white, etc...) and it will be easier to narrow down to a high quality rum.
Remember, the best rum may not necessarily be the most expensive!!!

If he likes rum he would probably like Makers Mark, it is a bourbon whiskey made in Kentucky. It tastes so freaking good! Check out the website

Old Monk, Pyrat, Pompero...10 Cane is overpriced and is not as good as Pyrat or Old Monk or Cruzan Single Barrel...Tommy Bahama is decent but is also overpriced...

meyers rum is probably the best and moderately priced (closer to expensive) rum on the market.
