I screwed up, I was and still am in love with this girl, and so I had to tell her because it was really bothering me inside and I just had to tell her. She knows I like her, I've shown I like her a lot by sending flowers to her school on valentines day, etc. But I've never told her in person until a few days ago, I went to her house after class and I gave her the money I owed her which I actually gave her more $ than I actually owed her, anyways and I asked her "Do you like me more than a friend", I think I caught her off guard and she said "I don't know, Its hard, I like you as a friend though". Without this girl in my life its really hard to move on, we always made each other laugh, and she was just perfect in everyway. I just want our friendship to be like it was before I told her my feelings for her, and Now I don't know if we will ever see each other again because of the awkwardness she may feel now. Should I write to her friend to tell the girl I like that I'm sorry???

I never really see her because she goes to a different school, and I can't talk to her on the phone because she isn't getting along with her parents. I really want to tell her I'm sorry and that I screwed up.

You need to go to the girl's house again or speak with her directly. Don't do it through a friend, something is always screwed up in the translation and she may get more confused. As you said since you sprung it on her very suddenly she may not have had a chance to think of you as anything more than a friend. Ask her to dinner or a movie and see how you both feel after a few "dates". Good luck and God Bless.

How can it screw you up just by telling someone that you would like them to be more than a friend, you have not insulted them. It is up to you now to act normal, she knows how you feel it is up to her now to make the next move. If nothing comes of it then you still have her friendship, my advice would be to get other girls into your circle of friends so this particular one does not break your heart when she eventually gets a guy if you are still hanging around waiting for her you will be absolutely devastated which will not do you any good at all. Yes I would write her and tell her that you wanted to express your feelings and that its fine if her feelings are different and that you still want to be as good as friends as you where before and that you dont her to feel uncomftable none the least. I work it works for you. Love can be hard

You didn't screw up so don't worry... if you snivel about it and tell her your sorry then she will feel you are weak.... stand strong next time you see her tell her I know were just friends and that's OK. and act like nothing happened.
It may seem award for awhile but things will clear up. give it time

Either she like you too, or she's just using you for all the gifts. Just tell her you don't want things to be awkward and you want to be her friend but you were just curious

Why be sorry for your feelings? Its up to her to figure things out, not you....you laid it all out for her. You put her on the spot. If she didn't reply right away it means that she does not love you like that....sorry man. Learn to be friends with her.
