is there a site which i could go on and type a word in english and it'll come out in bengali
i really need a translator

no but if you ask me i think i might be able to help. :). I am reading this book by William Radice called TEach Yourself Bengali. You could also try that. A Bengali dictionary is called obidhan. Try your local library.
