Wow. I can't believe some of the people that answer on here. Don't you have better things to do with your time than to berate someone? How can you be filled with such hate, doesn't that go against your beliefs as well? It's amazing how people judge you telling you to use protection and whatnot. Guess what? Protection isn't 100%. I was on the Pill for 7 years and still managed to get pregnant (I'm now 21 weeks along)

Anyway...I would go see your doctor, I don't think it's normal to bleed for that long. I'm sure you made the decision that was right for you at the time. Don't listen to the idiots on this site who tell you you're going to hell or that you're a murderer. Don't let their hate bring you down. But it is important you seek medical attention.

if you think we can help i don't think we're qualified. I was raped in 1986 for real i thought i was pregnant. I had an abortion, and i never bled at all not one single drop. I was so afraid. I now wonder if i was even pregnant. I think you on the other hand should go to the Dr. If your having sex now then that could cause bleeding. After an abortion i don't think you should have sex for about two months. I know if you're having sex, then that would cause the bleeding. Good luck.. And next time use protection. I had my abortion because i was raped.

I'm sorry you're bleeding so much.Go see your doctor, and maybe it will let up. I am pro-life but I can feel for you... I had a miscarriage that needed a d&C to complete and I bled for 4 weeks back in 2005. My dr. helped get the bleeding to stop. Maybe the dr. didn't get everything when they were doing the procedure. Only your doctor can tell you what is going on.

you need to see a regular dr right away, when having abortions they never tell you the risk to the mother, like that several thousand die every year from complications.
the bleeding could be from anything you need to be seen by a professional.

Sounds like you need to see a gyno pretty quick. See what they say. Excessive or prolonged bleeding is not ok. Call your gyno and make an appt.
