OK darling...I am not a man but I am blonde so I'm going to do my best to answer. OK, so you probably watch TV right? Have you ever seen the show Girls next door (you know about the Playboy girls doing absolutely nothing). Anyways, look at the image blondes have in the pop culture: complete airheads with no personality, crazy about sex, and will do anything men want cos being blonde makes them too dumb to think on their own (in other words, easily manipulated). And that image is really what most guys want (any guys reading this don't be offended cos I do acknowledge that not all men are like that and if you are one of them...good for you!). You know, guys like dumb girls who are easily manipulated; so while the girls stay at home, the men can freely roam around looking for other mates. And since the girls are dumb, they really can't think of even complaining (cos you know that the one thing men really can't stand is their women nagging at them!).
Actually this all comes from the male biology. Just watch discovery channel...you'll quickly realize that most of the male species roam around, make babies all over the place and almost never take care of them! Anyways, like I said, not all men are like that...the ones who actually moved beyond their animal instincts will tell you that blondes are just as cool as brunettes or redheads...to them, it's the personality of the girl that really matters.
I mean, there are of course personal preferences...like, you might prefer the tall dark and handsome type, while your friend would prefer bulkier and blue-eyed guy. That is personal and different with every guy...but the general popularity of blondes is actually due to their pop culture image as big-boobed airheads with this crazy desire for sex with no attachments...

2 me I like Blonde's that's all there is 2 it. Have never done well with brunettes even if blonde. There are other factors but there mine. Just my thought.

i truly have no idea and as my lady is brunette and i love her dearly
saying that ive always thought Marilyn Munroe was a fabulous actor (seriously) she is funny sensual looks ok and plays the dumb blonde to perfection --- she supposedly had a higher IQ than Einstein
