Now a days the parents do not impress upon their children to follow 'brahmacharya' till their marriage and father of a son are more careless about the character of his son. This is causing multiple problems in the society and middle aged citizens or father of a daughter is living in the enviornment of fear where as father of son feels pride in having his son irresponsible and characterless. Is chracterless-ness is pre-requisite for attaining the status of being MODERN. Who should stop this behaviour? Is their any need of such goondas, mawalis......

u are right.no parents are looking for their childrens.no matter a boy or girl.as per the life,its getting fast nd we just want to grab the opprtunities for our succes.both parents have to work thus no time for even knowing their childrens likes\dislikes.all faults is of parents plus thse days the cables,net,cafes made childs mind to run for stupid thngs.unless their is proper education from parents plus teachers ths can't stop.parents should give time to thr kids hang out with thm understand thm knw thm.all kids needs is time nd love.nd all we have is money,thn how could we blame kids......the answer to ur Q is simple TIME ND LOVE.

The modern World is the reason ,in this fast growing world ,people tend to make money faster, every one has no time to assist their children in their habits education etc. they go to their work in the morning and get back in the evening they do this for the whole week and during Sunday they go to party's and God knows what else. this negligence against their children will lead to goondas,mawalis etc.

You are so right! It is the responsibility of us as parents to educate our sons in respect for themselves as well as others. We must also educate our daughters of the harsh realities of irresponsible fathers encouraging their sons to be equally as irresponsible and disrespectful of others. There is also a large number of young ladies being taught to use men and thus giving themselves no respect. This world is surely dealing with our young adults being mislead by their parents into a life of self destruction and they seem not to realize it. We can't do much about changing the beliefs that have been embedded in these young people's minds by their parents, but we can surely prepare our children to deal with them appropriately and not be conformed to their way of thinking,

Because nowadays children are growing up too fast. They know too many things too fast. When this happens, I guess it's about time that children are talked to as friends, not as parents.

In this age of internet / TV, this is not possible. I am father. I am not father. My children do not ask me. They want nothing from me. They want money to buy everything. They need financier without any right. I am paying. I have no right to ask / tell.
My daughters (1 married, 2nd 24) never help me. All are selfish. They want everything, food etc. of their choice. I can not buy anything for them. I am speech less. I can not teach them. They buy for me and offer me. Many times, I want lassi. They give me lassi, noodles etc. If I say anything, they beat me, shout. I have to keep silent for peace.
