I dont want to touch the dog cuz it is very stinky.Its stuck on the rope thingy you walk it with and the collor wont come off.I dont want to put it outside cuz its little and its cold out.But I feel bad that the collor is stuck so it can only move about 3 feet.Pluss I hate dogs and dont want to touch it.(Yes The owner knows I hate dogs I told her and dont worry i will never dog sit again its gross)
Is there a dog person people can call to help get dogs unstuck?

Thanks to the nice peopleto the peson who said ask someone walking down the road That was a GREAT idea,I had the neighbor kid do it.
The reason I wont touch it is because it stinks .The owner needs to take better care of it ewwww.

I understand that you don't want to touch the dog. I know some people who really don't like dogs and would never touch one in any situation. But, since your the only one around your probably going to have to do it. It's good that the dog isn't in pain but like you said, it's probably really annoyed. If it stays annoyed too long, it might start to destroy things. Is there a friend you can call to come and un-hook the dog? Maybe a boyfriend, friend or family member. Try that. If you can't get anyone to help then just find some way to get yourself to take the collar off. Then when your done you can go wash your hands 10 times if you want. Just find someone to do it or do it yourself.

I don't understand why the dog can only move about 3 feet. Unfortunately I think your dislike of all things dogly is making it difficult for you to correctly describe what & how it is stuck. What is the collar stuck on? The rope thingy is the leash, is that what is stuck? Can you unhook the leash from the collar? As Scooby said, you may have to cut the leash. Since the owner is aware of your dislike of dogs, she cannot blame you for getting in such a pickle, nor for having to cut the leash. She should not have pushed you to care for her dog knowing how you feel about them. I am sorry she was able to badger you into this gig, don't let people push you into doing something you don't want to. Just be careful that you do not end up accidently cutting either yourself or the dog if you get spooked in mid-cut. Good luck.

well, if the lease (rope) is attached to the collar, then you dont have the take the whole collar off, it is probably just on a clip or tied on. either way, the collar should stay on (most dogs never take their collars off).
if you really hate the dog a lot, see if you can find someone to help you, maybe someone walking down the street, or if you can, call a friend. if its just some random stranger, tell them you're allergic to dogs and cant really touch it or you might break out in hives (my boss is that way, and has to wrap her dog in a towel to pick it up)

Ok I promise the dog isnt going to give you any type of disease, and you can wash your hands after you mess with him lol!!! But in order to get the collar off your gonna have to check it out to figure how to get it off!!! He is gonna be miserable if you dont un hook him!!! But if you are petrified of this dog then cut the rope!!! Good Luck

Sorry but you have to touch the dog to get it unstuck.
On to the next point if you hate dogs so much why did you agree to dog sit in the first place.
Do yourself and the dog a favor and pay someone else to watch it for you. At least there will be someone with a heart there.
