sex can be both. I think that when you love someone you can have great sex and great lovemaking. There are times when it is very tender and emotional and there are times when you feel that animalistic desire for your partner hence, dirtytalking, and over the top experimentation. When you love someone you can have both, and if you do, congratulations. I think if you just meet someone and have relations, its pretty much sex but can turn into lovemaking very easily if it becomes more than a one nighter, sex and lovemaking are an emotional connection between 2 people. I've only met a few men that have been able to have sex with women and not have that connection, (sex buddy) and it is sad, but the title says "sex buddy"

It may be different in some cases and may be same in some. Sometimes people due to obsession commit sex but love is true, its not made it happens naturaly. But i would prefer sex after love.
