I have just one wire coming in from the outside for my cable tv and cable modem. Now I want to go Dish Antenna and scrap cable tv. However i want to retain the internet that is still cable... With just 1 wire coming in, how do i achieve this ?

A cable diplexer might work for you.

As the gentleman above said, Dish will run a new cable for you, as the existing cable may not be RG-6 which is required for Satellite service. As to his DVR statement, one cable may be sufficient to provide service as I have HD service going into a Dual receiver and only required one coax input into my receiver.. Great Service and picture quality.

Dish will run more cable into your home. One or two depending on the sevice you sign up for. If you get DVR service it will be two.
