Does it work....or is it a waste of money

It does work ONLY if you:
1) workout
2) take it after workouts
3) preferably in water

Whey protein only works if you are intending to lift weights...or some type of intense exercise. If you think about it..protein helps your muscles recover and grow..that's why you need it when working out. But if you don't work out...there is no need for you to take in more protein than the normal person would.

Another thing is..whey protein is only a supplement as the person above stated. You should be getting most of your protein from whole foods like chicken breast.

It's good to supplement but not if your not working out hard.. Look up the protein requirements for your age, weight etc. Spread out your meals 5-6 meals. .and you can probably have a protein shake in the am. and in the evening. If you start putting on body fat, cut back and supplement once a day on the protein. I have it,but don't always use it. I prefer to get my protein from chicken, fish, lentils, beans.
