My little girl's name is Foxy Roxy. She is two years old and weighs about 45 pounds. Roxy has long ears and long tail. Her coat is Brindle with white on her chest. She thinks she is a lap dog and never meets a stranger. Roxy is full of love and loves to give love back. I am heartbroken about this decision but I am not able to have her because of where I am moving to. All apartment communities have adopted this policy on Aggressive Breed Dogs. They will not allow you to have a Chow, Doberman, Pit Bull, Rottweiler, and a few others I do not recall. This upsets me a great deal because it is not the BREED, it is the Deed! I am a very proud and loving pet owner.
Anyhow, I need to find a loving home for Roxy to be apart of until I can buy a house. Roxy loves to play, ride in the car, wear her pretty pink shirt and be loved on. She is great with all people and other dogs.
Please let me know if you can help me.

Jim, I agree with what you are saying. I would NEVER give up my pets. However, I don't think you understand that there are practically NO rental properties that will accept pit bulls. Unfortunately, not everyone has the money to buy a house, and renting is the only option.
Again, I generally think that giving up an animal because of a move is a horrible, irresponsible excuse. There is pet friendly housing everywhere. Unfortunately, certain breeds (ie pit bulls, rotties, etc.) are discriminated against because stupid people use them as tools to make them feel bigger and badder about themselves by making them aggressive. These idiots make the breeds look bad and cause ignorant rental property owners to ban the breeds all together.
It often leaves good pit owners with no other option.
Please think before you judge next time.

I have two dogs, a pug and a boston terrier.
I would not live anywhere that my little dogs arent welcome.
You are willing to give up this dog to live in a specific apartment community?
Well Im sad for your dog, it appears that loyalty is something the dog has, but you don't.
If it were me, I would live in the country or where ever, but i would not give up my dogs.
You should be ashamed.
