To make things short, me and her had been on three dates. The last date, she invited me over her house. Everything seemed really well between us, although I was getting mixed signals from her. So I figured I would discuss where our “friendship” was headed. She told me that her Boyfriend in 2004 died in a car crash and ever since then, she hasnt been able to move on. She pretty much said she liked me, but wasn’t ready. She talked about how people always give up on her. Next day in class, everything seems perfect, even when I thought things were going to be awkward. But everything changed later that night when I saw her. She seemed distant and upset… at me. I let her cool down for the weekend, but the next week in class, same mood from her. She was kind of rude as well. So I figured I’d call her to ask her and before I could ask she said, “Look, im busy right now and I dont have time. I appreciaite your concern, but im just busy, ok?”

So I obviously got upset and asked her why she was acting that way. She said to leave her alone. I said I would give her her space. She than said, “I met someone special too and I don’t know what to do or how to handle it. I need some time and I need you to understand.” It’s been about a week and I’ve seen her in class twice, but she still hasn’t talked to me. What’s going on with her and what should I do?

maybe she really like the guy that died. and maybe she doest want to get to close to you for fear that if she does you will go away to. i mean she was talking about how everyone has giving up on her right? maybe she thinks that you will be no different. and if you really like her and want to get to know her and be with her then don't stop calling her or talking to her. let her know that you will be there for her. let her know that you are different and that you will stick around. and after a while, if she is still very distant, just leave her alone. that's about all you can do.

Yeah, Leave her alone. She may be dealing with the loss of her boyfriend that she's still not over....which I personally think she should be, at least to the point where it dosen't affect her relationships 2-3 years later. She sounds a lot confused and a litle on the crazy side, so do you really want to deal with that? Move on...you'll thank yourself later!
If you're in school, you must still be young...don't waste your time on unstable people.

She obviously does't want to have a relationship with you at the moment , Or you didn't give her enough attention when she needed it the most, instead you left her alone.
Wait an see what happens, maybe call her and say "look im sorry what happend to your ex I didn't know how to handle the situation, if you need a shoulder to lean on I'm here for you"
and see what happens.

hmm..seems like this girl is too moody and has been through too much to win your love. I say move on. There are a lot more girls in the world that you could date. Who says this girl is the one? Bless you.
