I have a very small blemish in my thigh that was once raised and then it turned into a mole. Hasn't changed or raised again. The color is a brown purple color. Ive had it for about 3 months. Hav any Idea what it is?

any blemish that changes shape or colour needs to be checked by a doctor

Blemishes don't turn into moles, darlin. Please go get checked out. You should have already made the appointment. Call before you get finished reading this.It hopefully is nothing to be worried about-but go see a doctor and let them take a look. That's it and better safe than sorry. They may want to take a sample and send off to be tested if they don't recogni ze right off. Don't depend on us, because we can't see it. It's probably nothing, but don't risk it. Good Luck Friend.

it could be a cancerous mole ... you should get it checked out .. i dont think ive ever seen a mole just appear out of nowhere.... id get it looked at by someone be-it your GP doctor or a dermatoligist.

you need to find out is it is a most dangerous ca;melanoma.Mole bigger then 5mm,colour dark brown and irregular shape all pointing to melanoma.See dermatologist before too late.
