At the last place I worked, all the staff gave this a go last year. There were 12 of us, and none of us lost any weight! Most of us didn't manage to stick to it for the full time as we felt very weak and faint. Personally, I'd just go with increasing your exercise a bit and cutting down on snacks/sauces/puddings etc.

I have and it works. I lost 7 pounds in the two weeks. However, this is not the healthiest diet and the world and you probably shouldn't do it for a long time. You are really just cutting back on calories and could do the same thing with any healthy cereal. It can also get boring since you have to eat the cereal for two meals a day.

It is a great method, however it is common sense, and could be healthier if you replaced it with a meal. Ks are about 120calories replace the bowl an eat a low calorie dinner and then have a big meal at night and you’ll get exactly the same result.
Special Ks isn’t a long term plan, if you have the determination I could see someone sticking with it for a month, I think I lasted about a month and a half, are you going to eat cereal twice a day for the rest of your life? Eventually it gets boring.

Well it does work yes if you stick to it properly ie bowl of cereal for breakfast and lunch and a proper healthy dinner and nothing else the problem is once you loose the pounds and start eating normaly again the pounds just go back on you're better off eating healthily with a balanced meal and plenty of exercise that way the weight will stay off.
good luck x

Its total rubbish and very bad science.
This 'diet' gives you massive carb rush with each bowl of cereal. That carb rush dies a death after half an hour leaving you starving hungry. So you either snack or, if you're very strong willed, pacing around with stomach pains feeling crotchety and bitching at everyone.
The carbs turn to sugar in the body, so unless you increase your excerise levels you're going to store it. As this a very low calorie diet that fat/sugar storage doesn't add up to a weight gain, but it does mean sluggishness and bad moods.
Eat carrots instead x

i tried it with crunchy nut cereal - 2 bowls of cereal and 2 meals a day for the 2 weeks. it kind of didnt work with me, however im like addicted to crunchy nut cornflakes and i did end up eating more than 2 bowls a day (more like 4).
im sure if u have a bit more self-control than me and stick to it and enjoy some exercise then it will work for you. all the best

A word of warning about this diet- it says in very small letters on the TV commercial that for it to work you must have a BMI of over 25. That means you must be overweight for it to definitely work. That's where the guarantee comes in! I think it would be more effective to eat healthily and exercise.
