I have drank both on numerous occasions. To be honest with you, I really can't tell the difference. The only difference I can see is the bottom line...the price. Jim Beam is much cheaper, therefore you can buy more of it, which makes it a better choice for me. I started drinking Jim Beam for one reason and one reason only. I used to have a huge adoration for Hank Williams Jr. in my teen years and still do to some extent. A lot of his older songs mention Jim Beam in them and so I bought a bottle of it and really liked it..

I prefer Jim Beam over Jack Daniels. But they both will do the trick.

For SEC college football games, Jim Beam and Coke are the best. However, when you just want to go sipping, then Jack Daniels is best.

Jack and I have had an on/off thing for a while. I just can resist though. If I started on jim now it would just seem wrong, I'm just a faithful type of gall.

Jack Daniels has always been my favorite, though recently I found Canadian Club to be better, but that's probably a limited thing depending on where you are.
