The religions of this world are defferent in practice and theories but similiar in beleif and fear. A powerful line of difference is always dividing two community each defending its own beleif, And we reach nowhere. although the tastes of life are equally important for each one of every religion. the pains and happiness are also have the same importance, the shame and insults are also equally disturbing for each and every one from all religion. the failure and success also rates the same level of thinking, then what do the religions role, is it a mystry ?

God says: "That very ancient science of the relationship with the Supreme is today told by Me to you because you are My devotee as well as My friend and can therefore understand the transcendental mystery of this science."
Just those who surrender completely to the Lord can understand this mystery, others, quarrel among themselves due to the lack of knowledge.
God also says: "As all surrender unto Me, I reward them accordingly."
" I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from Me. The wise who perfectly know this engage in My devotional service and worship Me with all their hearts."
"To those who are constantly devoted to serving Me with love, I give the understanding by which they can come to Me."
"To show them special mercy, I, dwelling in their hearts, destroy with the shining lamp of knowledge the darkness born of ignorance."

The leaders of countries found out long time ago: divide and conqueer. If you give people some metaphysical bull to fight about, you have a divided people - who are easy to control.
It's also a good way to get parinoia going. "The people across the sea don't have Jesus," ect. When people are parinoid, you can sell them the Brooklyn Bridge.
Look at our country today. What do you think are the real odds of being harmed by a terrorist in America? Seriously!! Yet many people are afraid. So afraid, that they forget our leader is lining his pockets by making it easy for rich industrialists to MOVE OUR JOBS OVERSEAS. That's our bread and butter folks! Did Jesus tell him to do this?
I think it's actually more about tricking stupid people for power and money.

Some religions explain contradictions within their mythos as "mysteries", and say their god's ways are too complex for ordinary humans to understand them. They say we should just follow the beliefs blindly, and accept that their god will take care of us. I don't buy that, though.
