this girl we will call A for auguments sake, isnt exactly "HOT" so my friend told me it was true love. i want to tell her i love her but i think she might laugh in my face. should i still try??

If you don't take the risk, you wont know that if you can be success. Just tell her. Girls aren't so mean. Maybe she feel the same way as you are.Maybe she thought that it is bad a girl asking a man about feeling first and maybe you'll laugh in her face. That will be really bad. I suggest you to ask her out and tell her all the things you want to tell and then if she DO laugh in your face let her because life goes on and and maybe someday you'll find a girl that is so much better and love you just the way you love her.

If you're basing your love on the fact that she isn't "hot" because your friend said so, you should rethink it before you do anything. That doesn't sound like love at all.
How long have you been dating? If it's been a while, then yeah, there's a good chance it's love, but no one can decide that except for YOU.
I always thought the best ways to say I love You were just during a routine errand or casually on a walk together. It catches you more off guard that way, and it's more emotional, I think, because it shows that you're incorporating loving this person into your everyday life. I personally don't like the big elaborate plans that involve rose petals and champagne.

How long have you known her? Tell your friend he's an idiot. There's more to people's character than being "hot" or not... If you are actually dating her, maybe start out with "I care about you a great deal" instead of "I love you". See what reaction that gets first. Oh and get some better friends.

If your friend told you you love her and your afraid she might laugh in your face, make sure it's really "love" first! Do you really love her or you just think you do because your friend told you it was? LOL Only you can determine if it's love or not. No one else. As for fearing she will laugh in your face, nothing ventured, nothing gained!

dont listen to your friend. if you think shes not 'hot', then you cant possibly love her. regardless, hotness has nothing to do with love, personal relationships and knowing someones true self does. get to know her. ask her out to do things, only then will you know if its love. she will laugh in your face if you tell her you love her and you dont even know who she is inside. im guessing youre about 14. chill out and slow down.
