I think it is one of the more sensual touches. It is relaxing and yet tingly (is that a word?). The only thing that might be considered rude is if some stranger started to do it...and then I probably wouldn't consider it rude as much as I would consider it bit scary. Other than that...please feel free to play with it :)

I have long hair, and I once met a guy who was a fetichist. We were not going out together (Thank God) but I know he was fascinated by my mane and wanted to touch it, comb it, and apply cream to it. He was very pushy and kept talking about it each time we saw each other. So I finally agreed in order to get rid of his weird request. He just looked like a maniac when he was touching my hair and he even cut a strand of it with a razor before I could react. I was furious and never saw him again.
My personal conclusion: only my boyfriend is allowed to touch my hair now and he wouldn't have become my boyfriend in the first place if he had showed any morbid interest in my hair.
"I like your hair" while stroking my head with a tender gesture is the maximum I can stand from a man I'm getting intimate with.
A long time boyfriend could be allowed occasionally to comb or brush my hair. He can play with it too but not so much as giving the hair the first place.
From a stranger or even a relative, I wouldn't tolerate even the slightest touch. Period.

YES!!! I don't think that just applies to women with long hair though, I just recently had my hair cut short, and I don't care what length it is, I love to have my hair touched & played with!! I must say though, if someone I had never met before just walked up to me and asked to touch my hair I might get a little creaped out.

i've got seen good and undesirable hair coloration jobs. If it fairly is performed in a fashion which you do not look like huge fowl, or want a lampshade on it, then I say it could look good. i don't have a undertaking with a guy that needs some coloration on his hair if it fairly is not severe. i actually like the shorter varieties on adult men. i think of streaked hair seems extra useful than bleached all one coloration in case you will do it. a mix of darkish with highlights. I choose definition, and not super cumbersome muscle groups. in basic terms be tender and chuffed the variety you like your seems, because of the fact all women folk are different

It really depends on the person. You can't really generalize this one. I have very long hair and I HATE having it touched. I don't even like going to the hairdresser.

Some girls are fine and enjoy some one touching their hair, but others snap at you if you touch their hair. It really depends on the girl. You should make she's ok with some one messing with her hair.

It depends on how its done. Anybody can play with a girls hair but you have to know which ways she likes to be touched. Sometimes if its too light it can be annoying but if its too hard then it can be painful. Pay attention to what and how she likes it.

All I can tell you is that I have long hair and I would love if my boyfriend wanted to play and brush it. For me it would be like rubben my feet. Some girls though might find not understand why. Just tell them you like it too.

It's incredibly rude, unless you have a personal relationship with the lady.

If you are dating, she most likely will enjoy it. If you are just friends, it would be kind of weird. I love it when my boyfriend plays with my hair. It is very relaxing and loving.
