Don't let it. It happened to me so I know.
You have to be stronger than that. Try not to think about it and don't dwell on it. As soon as you can come to terms with what happened, things will get better.
Its a very personal thing but don't tell a new boyfriend right off the bat. It may scare him off. If you feel safe with a guy (which you should if you want him to be your boyfriend) then go with it.
Don't dwell on the past. Nothing good comes out of it.

CALL THE POLICE. Get the "friend" arrested. The only way you'll get over it is through justice, and letting everyone know he is a scumbag. Once a rapist always a rapist. When that ordeal is done, you can move on. it will only "destroy" relationships if you let it. Stay strong and confident, and remember if any guy gets too close JUST KICK HIM IN THE BALLS. Then knee him in the jaw. Then call the cops.

It shouldnt destroy your new relationships if you dont let it. Hopefully you experienced the joy of seeing your "friend" go to jail for what he did to you. Depending on how long ago this rape occured you may need to seek therapy with a professional if you still feel the discomfort of getting raped. Sheese what are people thinkin about anymore - I just dont know. Who rapes a friend???

You never get over a rape. You learn to lvie with it because it is all you can do. Putting it out of your mind is more than likely not possible. It would be best for you to seek counseling help right now. The counselor will help you a lot if given the chance. Do it and don't hesitate any longer.

Did you tell the authorities? That's the first thing, isn't it?
Don't allow him to keep control over you. Don't be a victim, and go under, getting depressed and never living your life again. Because then, he's going to be still raping you.
Take care of your body. Take care of your mind and spirit. There must be people you can trust left. You cannot let yourself see people you've trusted all of a sudden as the ememy. I'm sure they want to be there for you and help you. Please try to let them. Also... let God help you. Let Him love you. He is the Prince of Peace. He loves you so much and wants to wipe away your tears.

It's a complicated answer...I need much more infor to even get close to giving you an answer that will be of any help. How old are you? Your sexual history? How ols is he? any other relationship ties? like best friends brother? friends of the family? forcible? Give me more to go one for a better answer.

I am so sorry. You need to get couciling with someone who specialises in this. The counselor will help you. Again I am so sorry, I hope you turned him in and he goes away for a long time.

wow uh first ditch that friend if you haven't already then go to a therapist and talk it out then move on and when you do before you have anything tell him what happened and how it affected you if he doesn't understand ditch him he isn't worth it. . .I hope this helps!
