i have the same problem that you have but i trim the ends just a little and then do a deep condition! it makes my hair softer and the ends way better. you should get the stuff called hair serum you can get it at any drug store or walmart. it makes my hair very soft and shiny and controls the frizz! i dont know what id do without it =) best f luck to you xoxoxo =)

Get a trim to get rid of anything dead bits at the bottom. When you brush it, go slowly and gently at the bottom, you don't want to tear through everything. When you wash your hair, make sure you put conditioner on the ends at least, and leave it on for a minute or 2. Consider buying a hot oil treatment, too, and use it once or twice a week, at least on the ends.

Bath and Body Works at any mall sell shampoo and condition with the word moisturizer written on the bottle. The condition works like magic. My hair is like straw. As soon as you put the conditioner on your hair chances IMMEDIATELY to soft real hair. In the same section they sell Voluminize and something else. Get the one that says moisturize and you will see an immediate difference

Right - split ends. Cut them off, there's no way to repair that. It's a great time of year for a change, anyway. I just cut mine.
Peace!

A haircut is needed to remove the damaged endings. There's no other way to repair that.
