Hello my question is that ...My I-130 immigrant petition for relative application right now is pending,I am doing it for my husband and I got married last year.I travel every 2 months to the Dominican Republic 2 go visit my husband. Someone told me thats bad that I travel so much because it could affect my paper work for immigration...Is that true?

If you are a citizen it doesn't matter. If you are a resident and travel for a period longer than 6 months can affect you.

If anything it will help your paperwork. You can prove that you are married and dedicated to him because you travel. The only drawback is that you have only been married a year. But if you have all the correct paperwork, it should be no problem.

I have actually herd the same thing. that if you travel to often back and forth to the states it can affect your paper work and even your status in the states.
