yes. However, putting it in a slow cooker will take longer than on the stove. the good thing is that it won't burn like it could on the stove, and it doesn't require constant stirring.

put your ingredients in and put it on low/medium. let it go for 4 or 6 hours.

Also, do NOT open the lid. Opening the lid delays completion by about 15 -20 minutes each time. The cooker has to build the heat back up again when you do.

Then make your rice and enjoy it.

I envy you. Sounds delish.

Oh for sure! Chilli is best in a slow cooker. Put on low all day.

Just make sure when you are done tht you cool any leftovers off before you put them in the refrig. Putting them into smaller containers so they can cool quickly will save you from any bacteria growing in the think chilli (just putting the crockpot in the refrig is asking for trouble.)

Through it all in the crock pot girl! Brown the hamburger first, I like to season it too, then toss it in with whatever you like. If you like what the ingredients are- throw em in , if not leave em out or replace it! The croc pot is the best way to make up your own ideas and cook everything perfectly. I even put 2-3 chicken breasts in there with a bottle of BBQ, and presto, the chicken can be pulled apart and you have delicious sandwiches (like BBQ pork)! Experiment with it and you'll be amazed!
