I am 31 and get along well with people that are older than me better than younger ones. I think I would like to meet an older woman to date maybe between 31-45 instead of younger ones. I just seem to be much more in tune with older personalities. However, I don't want a woman that is older to act like she is a parent or something like that. Just want to have a relationship with mutual respect.

I know plenty of older women who love a mature young man. You should have no problem.

Peace!

I just turned 38 but have dated younger guys. There are alot of them who are tired of the 20 somethings that are not mature. I don't think the number matters (except in cases of like young enough to be your kid) so much as the maturity level of the person you are dating. One of my best relationships when I was 37 was with a 29 year old. So, I say go for it.....not a big deal!

I think that the older you are, the less age actually matters. I am 24 and wouldn't date a younger guy because they aren't matured enough yet. But if I was 35 or older, I would be all about dating younger guys, and not to mother them, but to stay young and alive and do things with them.

Hi,I am 42 yrs. old, and a little of advice for you my friend wouldn't help the older we get the more tired we get reason being most younger men are still trying to pull the same crap that we already been threw with our exes and whatnot's,we already know the answers before the questions, and the tricks too. That's why we seem a bit mother or parent like, sometimes we even feel responsible for how you may behave, but good luck sweetie have fun anyway.

I will freely admit I am a little immature and the guy i want to date is mature for his age. He is 18 and I am 20. I have always gotten along better with younger men. They are more fun and attentive and I dont act like a parent at all.

Personally, I would not date a man that was more than four or five years younger than me. I know many women who do though, and they are fine with it. It's just a personal hangup I have, thinking younger guys are less mature, less "life experienced", etc. And, there is no way someone that much younger than me can ever be the .... hm, "leader" in the relationship. I am way to independent for that!

I'm 29 and I won't date a guy younger than 32 - guys seem to go through some kind of crazy pre-midlife crisis between 30 and 32 and I'd like to avoid that if at all possible.

No. I am 26, and I wouldn't date a younger man. I don't want to live through 22 again through someone. Just remember, if you want a family, you will have to be sure not to get with someone too much older than you.

I think most women at some point are going to date a younger man. After the age of 30 thats all I dated. Then I became more comfortable with my own age and I bcame attracted to men only within 5 yrs. of my age.Now I just started seeing someone that is 11.5 yrs. younger than me.He still wants a child! So I dont think we are going to be longterm material. But for now,we get a long well. And try to not overwhelm each other. And are sexually compatible!

you should just find someone your own age who shares you interests and views. What if you want children? Someone considerably older than you will probably not be able to have children. There are people your age that are mature acting. Just keep looking.
