Where is the best place to shop for gluten-free products? e.g. asda, sainsburys. Also, does anyone know of any packet or jar sauces which are gluten-free? Links would also be helpful. Thanks.

Tesco have quite a nice selection of things now or you could check out these sites:

http://juvela.co.uk/
http://www.coeliac.co.uk/

If you need gluten free products because you have been diagnosed with coeliac disease (an auto-immune disease, triggered by gluten, a protein found in wheat, rye and barley, which reduces the absorption of foods due to flattening of the villi in the small intestine) you should be able to get a prescription from your Doctors which gives you an allowance of gluten free foods per month.

I don't know off hand about which sauces are gluten free, but the coeliac site has a nice section on what to look for on food labels: http://www.coeliac.co.uk/glutenfree_living/eating_and_shopping/201.asp

Try health food shops such as Holland and Barrett or Julian Graves. Sainsburys do have a small section devoted to this also, but only a fairly small bit. H and B or JG are possibly your better bet.
