Obviously there is not enough or I wouldn't be an Atheist.

Yesterday I asked why people tell us you need to believe based on faith but then use the bible as evidence. Why not have more evidence if it's ok? Is there something wrong with evidence, and if so shouldn't they stop using the bible as evidence? Or is it just the amount of evidence that's in question?

Bryan: He should give me more proof because the proof he provided is insufficient for me.

The amount we have is sufficient wouldn't you say? As evidence we point to the natural wonders of the world, a flower, etc -- just like Atheists point to the natural wonders of the world for evidence of their faith. Do Atheists need MORE evidence?

I answered this previously today, do some searching.

Anyway my answer is:

Because he shouldn't have to. Look around at the earth, and every living creature and plant. Look at the sunrise, and sunset. Look at love, anger, sadness, and happiness. Why should he have to give you any more proof than you already have.

God could come down from the heavens, and create life right in front of our very eyes, and there would be some people that would still deny him, and pass him off as an illusion. He has gave us all the proof that we need.

Like I said in my second part. He could come down from heaven and grab you by the collar, shake you a few times, and say "BELIEVE IN ME, I"M REAL." And you would still deny him, along with 95% of other non-belivers. So why should he bother? He should not have to bend to YOUR will, you should have to bend to HIS will.

"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."- Hebrews 11:1. Faith would not be faith if we could see everything. God opens eyes and hearts to those who chose to believe. If you trust Him and have faith- his existence will be made known to you.

Look within yourself to find God. Personal experience is the best evidence there is.

You equate a non-physical being with physical evidence. This, to any logician or philosopher-amatereus makes no sense whatsoever.

It's God, not a murder mystery.
