Your cat may have tapeworms, which are long, segmented worms that live in the small intestine of an infected animal. Symptoms can be vomiting, weight loss, twitching/attacking of the tail, and finding segments of the worms in the stool, on areas they lay, around their butt, etc. They would look like small grains of rice.
A trip to the vets is in order - and be sure to bring a stool sample with you in a baggie.
If confirmed by your vet, then a single dose of praziquantel (available under several brand names) will take care of the issue.
FYI: If your cat receives Revolution for keeping away fleas, ticks, heartworm, etc., then it also offers protection against other types of worms (round and hook).

It may not be fun but from time to time you have to take close look at your cat's poo. Sometimes some of the worms may still be alive and you can actually see them moving. If that is what you are seeing then a dewormer is definitely in order. Ask your vet for a checkup or at least what is recommended in the way of a store bought dewormer.

If you are feeding your cat inexpensive foods alot of them contain bone shards, you cat is passing them because she can not digest them!
Try switching to a more natural food and see if that helps.
