yes I'd feel guilty as hell, and because of that I would be able to face them afterwards because I wouldn't do it.....

If you are an adult what is the purpose of a gf/bf?
If you are not living together, engaged, or soon to be either one in the near future,then maybe you've jumped the gun on the commitment thing. Lying to someone implies that you are doing something wrong, and I think, puts you in a subservient position in the relationship( u know ur less than they xpect or they're better than you so you have to hide your faults) I would have a serious talk w/bf/gf about were your relationship is going and make my decision from there.

I would feel guilty leaving my boyfriend because I love him and he means the world to me. I am not with him because I am a pathetic loser who needs somebody, anybody in my life so that I don't feel completely worthless. There is no way I could see them again without feeling guilt. I don't know if you know this but guilt is what you feel when you have done something that you wouldn't want to have done to yourself. It sounds like you have problems with yourself, on some levels you must hate yourself. You need to stop the negative thoughts about yourself, start loving yourself so you can start loving others.

I wouldn't feel guilt because if I was going on a weekend trip with this "dream date", I'd have to break up with the b/f first. That would mean I didn't care very much to begin with if I stayed with him or not. If you've EVER been cheated on, you know how it feels and you wouldn't do that to someone you care about.
