She been with the church for 10 years and she intended to change her current afternoon Sunday service to a morning session in another church. Do you think her church can decide and comment on which church she want to attend? She afraid that her sisters in her old church will criticise her, because she still want to attend prayer meeting and bible study with them on weekdays. But only attend a Sunday service in another church.

The reason for going for Sunday service at another church is because the pastor's preaching more clearer and more interesting.

I told her it is ok, because it is her choice and wanting to know God more and getting closer to him. She belong to God and not the church. But she doubt my words. So I need all Christian out there to give your comments, because I will let her see this page. Thanks!

Perhaps it is like I do.
I go to a Pentecostal Church and a Baptist Church. You sort of get a potpourri of things you know. I like to get a differing view of things. I'd like to get one more version in. One down the middle. Perhaps Congregational.

Your friend should be able to attend any church service she wants at any time she wants. Her sisters in the old church may criticize her, but she can respond "My choice of churches is my own business. Thank you for your concern."
Hopefully, she will be able to do this without a lot of grief. If she does get grief, then, she could tell herself she made the correct decision.

this shouldn't be a problem as long as she isn't converting to another religion. I am Catholic and a member of St Raphael Parish but some times I go to mass at other Catholic parishes just for a different look at the inside of the buildings and to listen to other priests talk at the homilies. We have some priests that are more orthodox and others that seem to becoming more liberal. I prefer orthodox masses. But I can't go to a Baptist church or Lutheran service. I want communion.

It should be OK. Unless the new Church is teaching some thing weird ( or the old one is) most denominations accept that they agree on the big issues and let the little ones slide. It will depend a lot on if the people involved are the bossy judgemental type.

hi Bethany, honey your son's gay whether you like it or not. Being gay isn't a sin and in case you have been rather Christian you does not be eating shellfish or positioned on clothing made out of two categories of fabric. you may discover ways to be extra open minded, you do not even understand for constructive that god even exists and yet you utilize him as an excuse to be close-minded and variety of caught up if i'm truthful. He has a mag with bare men in it for gods sake take a splash additionally he's a 17 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous boy he has an excellent style of hormones working with the aid of him, he's in all probability additionally masturbating. As to what you may do approximately this: permit him understand which you already know yet in addition you may permit him understand that it particularly is o.k. to be gay. Boys are 4 cases extra probable to commit suicide than women and in case you do not settle to your son the way he's then you're a terrible individual because of the fact i'm constructive the bible taught you to love your babies. unlike established conception, you won't manage to make your suggestions up on in case you're gay or not, in case you do not have faith me then evaluate this: why might all of us elect to be close out out of your loved ones and pronounced as a shame and be bullied on a each and every day foundation?

It might be a good move, especially if she is moving to a more spirit filled Church. If her friends from her present church criticize the move, then she is probably not in a spirit filled church. The more criticism she gets, the more important the move is.
If she is moving to a less spirit filled church, though, she should re-think her decision.

Well, they might criticize her,but this is a choice that is hers to make. There are times when we have to do what we feel is right for our spiritual life, regardless of the opinions of others. Look at Noah, building an Ark in the desert...everyone thought he was out of his mind!
