Any advise for me to improve my english because i found that my english is still at the same level though i have read lots of books, talked to peoples that have good english, wathed movies without the subtitles and alot more.
Im preety good in speaking and listening but not in writing because i need to be careful with my grammar, punctuation and spelling.I tried to write as many as i can but i can easily mixed up with the tenses(is it correct?).
Any website to recommend?

p/s:english is my 3rd language and im looking forward to make it my 2nd language or even if i can i wan to make it my 1st language.
Thanks.

Peoples in my area do not use English as their language of communication because in my country, there's way too many races and languages. That's why i have 3 languages and some of my friends can speak up to 5-6 languages fluently. So that's why i cannot improve my english because many peoples are not good in english both spoken or written.

have someone (native speaker) read your writings and tell him to correct you everytime u make mistakes. it worked on me. english isnt my first language either, but somehow i managed to be good at it--at least that what most english speakers told me.

perhaps when watching dvds, you should set the english subtitle on, that way you can see the forms of common english tenses, proverbs, phrases, etc DONT SET IT OFF, you dont have problem listening, so why bother?. You seem to have a problem in written english. Speaking and listening won't help that much. If you read a lot, you should be seeing things you dont understand. Everytime you see tenses you're not familiar with, or phrases, or proverbs......dont just guess what they mean, this was the kind of mistake i made in the past. NEVER GUESS, NEVER INTERPRET, look up the dictionary, ask native speakers what they mean. You will therefore be able to understand them and eventually to use them in the future.

hmmm, no matter how hard you try, english will never be your first language (remember your mother, it's always the first).

I've learned that if you read the same book in you native language and then in the language you are trying to learn (in your case English) is an amazing way to learn expressions, grammar, vocabulary, etc. Just pick a book that you enjoy and have fun! The secret is not to give up, mistakes are an excellent way to learn and enjoy the journey!

Continuous & long practice is necessary to get the 'sense' of any language.

Frequent chatting with an online friend whose first language is English could be of great help.
