I am a woman of 51 and when I have been sitting down I get a pain in the base of my spine on standing it is quite uncomfortable for a minute or so and I have to concentrate on walking for a few moments is it age or does anyone know what is causing it.

I knew a girl who had that same symptom and it turned out to be MS. She also had a tingling sensation in her calves.
