I painted a table with two coats of latex paint and want to put a finish over it. What is the best product? Varnish, Polyuethane, Laquer?

Polyurethane would be your best bet. it is the least abrasive. Sand well prior to application.

Sand the table before you add anything. I like Polyurethane on mine (low sheen). It protects the finish against stratches.

you have to watch it before putting anything on latexpaint, otherwise it may start getting blisters
or just comes back off.
find out from the tin(if it is still readable) the name of the brand, and contact them via there webside,to get proper advice,or your hardware
store
