Where can you find serious people? Nowhere that you can also find people who can even begin to claim to understand your desire to marry either a woman from the UK or from Japan.
To me, that sounds way too much like someone who wants to use his marriage licens as a visa into a country, instead of as an indication of a willingness to build a life together with a woman he loves.
What do you intend to do once you reach the UK or Japan? Become an entreprenurial millionaire, and then dump the broad and run away to enjoy your pounds or yen in the impoverished nation of your birth?
