Why doesn't he just up & prove once and for all he IS & get all this drama over?

I am tired of the endless debates & theories.

Perhaps he just loves the suspense & torture?

Something that does not exist cannot make itself known.

God has proven himself over and over to humanity. The problem is you will not accept the testimony of the people that have neither in this life nor in the Bible.

God has withdrawn his presence from the earth because it has the foul smell of sin. How would you like to hang out in a sewer for millions of years?

The debates will go on for generations (unless the world ends soon) and will always ask the same Q's because you will always have people of faith and people without it.

God doesnt have to prove anything! He has left us His Holy Word which tells us everything we need to know.People are the ones who debate and theroize and argue. We put God in a box and try to sell Him.God is God .Like it or not.And He did walk this earth in the flesh. His name was Jesus.Did we listen to Him then.NO! What makes you think that mankind will listen now? God is long-suffering and He wants all of us to be reconciled to Him. And dont worry,He is coming again! Sooner than we think.

We make it hard to find God, and it's not so much that we have to find him, more so that we have to find ourselves. God created us in his image and blew the breath of life into us. Because we don't want to submit to God's authority things become difficult for us to understand about the Lord. We think our way is the best way and that we know more than God. What audacity and arrogance on our part. God ways are mysterious to us because of our finite thinking, we cannot think like God but we have to trust that he knows what he is doing and that the universe belongs to him, not us. We have to trust that he always has our best interest in mind, we can't have our own best interest in mind because we are not infinte like the lord, he knows and understands our past, present and future, therefore his decisions and direction is always best. Faith is when we just believe what the word says and that God will take care of us however it looks or feel to us.

Yeah, I know what you mean... Yet let's try an answer:
Isn't true love generally speaking hard to find?... Wouldn't you want the one you love to believe in you, even though he/she doesn't know you well enough? Well, of course that you do have a point, since you and I would also try to help the beloved ones to find their path towards us, ...but it could simply be that, from God's point of view, he has done enough already :) (unfortunately for me, I regard this as just a theory...)

It is us that puts the stumbling block in finding God- He wants us to find him so much that He sent His son to earth to die for our sins so that we can have a personal relationship with Him. I think we do not find Him because we are seeking something or someone other than the one true God. As humans we want God to be on our level- we try to make Him in our image. He said "He will not share His glory with any other" so if we are seeking Him we have to come to him humbly and on His terms, not ours. That is the way that we find Him,

Matt 6:7
“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for.
Keep on seeking, and you will find.
Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.
8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.

Isaiah 55:6-7 (King James Version)

6Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Maybe you have set up boundaries that don't allow you to find God. Read Acts 17:27 this may compel you.

im tired of being accused of hate when what i say is judged by evil people to be hate because it exposes their sinful ways of living.
but its not hard to find God. Just simply believe and he will make himself known.
how does the song go? humble thyself in the sight of God and He will lift thee up?
Be humble and excercise faith, and things will happen if you are true to that calling.

It is just like a man being madly in love with a woman. He can't beat the woman into loving him, or force her into loving him. The best kind of love is the one that is voluntary and unconditional. That is the kind of love God wants from us.

I think God could ask the same question: "Why is it so hard to find certain people, if they want to be found so bad?" You can't find God as long as you are hiding from Him.
