its called tinnius and its from spasm if you will in the inner ear- make sure you dont have an inner ear infection!

Inner ear damage. Ringing in the ears is one of the first signs of hearing loss. With all the noise in the world too many people don't realize how much they are damaging their ears.
Listening to a lawn mower for over 3 min, will start damaging your ears permenatly. How many people listen to music louder than that all the time?
