There are many ways to help, like planting trees, recycling, being part of organizations...and helping on the education of people. I believe my way of helping will be teaching biology one day to kids and being a teacher who makes a difference in their education. I've been trying to separate the garbage here for recycling, and i try to buy only recyclable material or biodegradable. I also try to avoid plastic bottles or aluminium.

To keep the planet green we should involve in growing plants. Cultivate in younger generation the love for nature .to appreciate and to respect the plants and trees. The worshipping of plants animals and in general nature exists in all the cultures globally.
I have been maintaining a medium sized garden where I grow flowering plants and medicinal herbs.
To keep the environment clean we must learn to manage our garbage.
'Reduce, Recycle and Reuse'- an important and immediate message should be understood by every responsible citizen.
Collect , conserve and use water without waste is a must at present.
Economical use of fossil fuels , finding alternative sources of energy without depleting the sources and without polluting the environment, generating energy from wastes which are already in practice should be given more priority.
Say' no' to plastics and other non biodegradable materials before they choke this planet and the life out of it.
Every problem has a solution. Let us work towards the solution.

One important thing can be done is to plant saplings, then next daily u have to water it and fence it that is nurturing it is important, only then u can really get the result. Do u have enough water to spare for watering the plants, can anybody do that , it could be like a morning jogging exercise .this can help to a certain extent. regarding cleaning use a lot of dustbins and make use of it without any choice.organising the proccess of burning it or recycling it must be done in a more efficient manner , than polluting the waters , air and the soil.

Over the past 50 years I've paid hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes that our government has used to clear the air and water and clean up toxic waste dumps. In addition, some of this money has gone to research to produce more energy efficient buildings, more fuel efficient automobiles and the like. I applaud all who have planted trees. I've done so also. But, in the end most problems are solved with money.

We cannot make our planet green untill we take care of it. My meaning is to say that if we are plolluting our environment than it is of no use to keep our planet green. We can keep our planet green bye planting trees in lot instead of cutting it down . We can keep it clean in the way we keep our home clean

I use and reuse paper a lot so as to prevent more trees being felled for the paper industry. I use paper on both sides, reuse envelopes by pasting labels over the addresses and reuse gift wrapping by unwrapping gifts carefully in the first place. I know this may be helping not even .00000000001% of the problem, but if we all do it, it will certainly help to an extent.

I am going to snowmobile with my 2-stroke powered Polaris (made in America, baby!), tear up the ground with my XR650R when the weather gets warmer and drive my smoke belching Ford Powerstroke everywhere I go. Come on people, stop telling me how to live my life. If I don't live my life the way you eco-terrorists think I should then I get maligned. The environmental movement has nothing to do with saving the environment and everything to do with acquiring authority over people.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go and murder some bunnies with lead bullets.

Sir, Perhaps I might not have contributed anything substancially towards keeping our home planet green till date but the question posed by you is certainly cracking and spliting my mind with the guilt of a first degree. Now that you have ignitted my mind I shall go all out, heart and soul to do all within my sources and limits.

1: Bear always in mind all the blessing this pleasant planet has showered on us lavishly and perpetually and this would remain the motivating force to drive me towards constructive contribution in keeping our mother earth clean.

2: Spare and share a few moments at dinner time with all the members of your family the need for saving this pleasant earth from the impending danger of total annihilation.

3:Try and keep your surroundigs neat and clean like what we do to keep our home **** and span. Though we may require a few minutes everyday yet it is worth sparing on two counts; we bring in a new pleasant atmosphere that itself serves us a daily reminder of our duty towards our planet as well.

4:Stop the habitual usage of water, electricity and refrigiration etc at will and restrict to the dire need. Go walking to your near by church, gymnasium, the grocer, saloons etc resting our automobiles for some times. Driving my wife and daughter in my car to their office/school on my way to work and this would keep off the exhast from two other vehicles.

5: Avoid the usage of bio nondegradable materials especialy the plastic bags. No camp fire celeberations and the road fire boghi.

6:Detest supporting in any form the mading competitions for industrial revolution and stoutly oppose the policies of any nation especially of U.S.A. and the Republic of China in their casual approch towards environmental safeguards.

7: Last but not the least I would rather I have given up smoking for good.

Haven't driven a motor vehicle, opened a tin can of food, opened a freezer package, turned on air conditioning or heating since July 6th 2006. Some of the major advantages of living in Nicaragua. Come on down, its eco friendly.

I live in first floor of state housing board flats. i neither own the floor nor the roof with absolute and unhindered rights.
frequently we are forced to buy water for our daily use.
like me millions of people live.we can only help reduce vehicular pollution that is curbing the cause.
it is the rich who live in pictursque and posh bangalows in a large lanscape who can do the planting but don't do.
also,it is they who consume more petrol and pollute right, left and in the mid centre..
rich and the affluent are the cause of pollution in both ways.
they cause it and don't do anything to curb it.
poor are not to be blamed.
may be govts can do but they have anxiety of next elections and they have to prepare and work for it.
even in the most sophisticated ,advanced country like usa,the work for the 2008 elections ,right now.see the fun!
