You have to separate the animal act of sex from the human act of love making. Sex is good clean fun and great exercise. There's nothing wrong with it as such. We Americans place far to much emphasis on what is a perfectly natural act and a way of sharing pleasure with somebody.

Making love is something far different and I'm not sure I have the words to explain the difference. There is a deep emotional bonding involved. There doesn't even really need to be sex but sex can be a part of it. So is touching, laughing and doing your best to make each other happy in all things. Making love is an ongoing process that includes many things where sex is done for reproduction, fun and exercise.

An inadequate explanation, at best.

Yes, sex is just a physical activity.

Making love is the closest you can be to the person you love. It is much more rewarding and satisfying - not to mention safer than sleeping around with people you don't know (even if you use a condom there is no guaranty it won't break!!).

If all you want is a meaningless existence by all means find people that are hoes (male or female) and just go at it like bunnies. That is just not for me - I prefer being with my bf and us both caring who we are with before and after.

I think some people need to have an emotional attachment before having sex. It all depends on the person I guess.
