Is too much garlic bad for you. It does not seem to have any health side effects apart from it makes my breath a bit wiffy. I honestly eat a clove of garlic every 2 days. Can this be unhealthy.

Garlic has a lot of natural antioxidants and is really good for preventing and combatting flu and fever. However, it is high in calories, so if you need to watch your weight, this is something to consider.

Also - as a guy - it makes a big impact on the flavour of your juice. So, if you've noticed that girls aren't loving it, you might want to cut back. Other things that give you a bad flavour are red meat, beer, drugs, cigarettes. Pineapple and cantelope help improve the flavour a lot. When I start dating guys, I force feed them pineapple and cantelope so that I'll be able to enjoy every last drop.

How nice to know there is someone else who uses garlic. It's supposed to be good for you. If you really mean a 'clove' every 2 days, that's nothing, I use it almost every day, and don't stop at 1 clove, I use 2 or 3 or more. If you mean the whole bulb, then you're as bad as me. I'll eat some raw when I have a cold or sore throat, to help fight the germs.
As you say, it can make your breath a bit whiffy, but did you know it can be detected from the pores all over the body. I also believe that the more regularly you eat garlic the less noticeable it is, because it helps get rid of toxins and once everything is in good working order, there isn't the chemical reaction giving off all those gases. Well, that's my theory and I'm sticking to it.

Nothing in garlic is bad for you or too much. Add some onions - also very healthy. And parsley (which by the way helps freshen the breath). Also, it is not so much your breath, but it emits from your pores, which is also why people who eat a lot of curry emit a certain odor. So what, you are probably healthy! And someone else who eats lots of garlic won't mind! ps. if you put the clove in milk and drink it (seriously) it doesn't cause the odor - something about chemistry.

Actually the opposite, garlic is very good for the body and internal body systems, its just the taste and the breath it gives that turn most away from it. I eat garlic as often as I can but not to your scale.

Apparently Garlic is only bad for you if you are a vampire but I havent found any medical reports to confirm this.

As you have probably gathered from the answers above garlic is good for you and can purify the blood amongst other benefits. Also that your consumption is far from excessive. In order to increase it why not do what the guy in my office used to do. Keep a jar of pickled garlic on your desk and eat the cloves like pickled onions!

Garlic is considered so healthy that they make garlic capsules to take every day. It is good for the blood and it wards off germs of all types. The capsules would be a better option as they have taken the smell away from the contents. Keep taking it and you will stay healthy and live longer.

You can't over eat garlic. The body will just rid any excess of food it doesn't need through sweat, poo, your breath etc. It'll definitely keep the midges away!! Just chew mints or chewing gum for the bad breathe, as for the health side, think of all the millions of people that eat garlic everyday in their food, they're always healthier than the British population!

One clove of garlic every 2 days isn't a lot! I must eat double that at least, it's hardly excessive and it is certainly not going to have any ill effects on your health.

Garlic is really good for you, you are not eating too much. It is not unhealthy. You may have a bit of an odor, however if you are comfortable with that than enjoy your garlic!

Onions and Garlic are actually two of the most healthy things anyone can eat. It is really inconceivable that anyone could eat too much garlic. If a girl don't eat it, then she needs to be dumped as you will never be able to afford her doctor bills.
