My boyfriend has been receiving a lot of flirty texts from a girl he used to work with who wishes he was single. They have swapped picture messages and talk of meeting up and feelings they have. Is there any hope for us or should i just let him get on with pursuing a girl who lives 300 miles away?

dare i ask what sort of picture messages they have swapped?

what sort of feelings do they have for each other?

my first reaction when reading this was go find someone who'll treat you better, but now i'm thinking if you know about their friendship then there's nothing to worry about.

sit down with your boyfriend and talk to him about how you're feelnig and see what he has to say about it all

You can do either of these two: try and find what is lacking in your relationship with him that makes him want to find it somewhere else and make amends or walk away. if the first one is preferrable, stop being predictable to him from now on.find out the things that makes him attracted to you and re-ignite them.Maybe soon he'll see that he doesnt have to go 300miles for something that is right under his nose. You don't have to lose your man to another woman. So make those moves girl!!! besides you cant be sure your next man wont do same.

Why are you letting him make a mug out of you.

Its irrelevant that she lives 300 miles away. Hes still obviously needed the attention from her. And why would they arrange to meet up. It doesnt sound like a 'just friends' type meeting.

I'd phone her, and tell her to back off.

Difficult to know for sure. Thing is I feel if he is being up froont to you about the friendship ......is he prepared to let you view any ofthe texts? then he is at least being honest. If there is anything underhand that you know of.....or have discovered.....as in chats arrangements etc then time to close the door on him. A relationship that is not based on honesty and respect is doomed to fail. Why not chatto him and tellhim ho you feel....if his response is open and unflustered....you are prob over reacting if he becomes defensive and irritible just walk away. Leave them at it.

Talk to him and find out what's in his heart. Don't over think what's happening before you know all the facts.

not a good thing really, give him the " it's her or me" talk, if he says you then tell him ditch his number and get a new one!....if he hesitates move on!

If a relationship is to last it must be based on trust, if you don't trust him, you don't have a relationship.
