i got my tax check and it says mine and my wife's name on it. i put in my bank acct. but they send it back to me saying she is not on your accout. i really need the money today where can i cash it.. i will add her on my acct. but i need the money today ...where can i go to cash it....

There are check cashing places that will do it but that will cost you significantly. Most Wal-Marts will also cash income tax checks for a much lower fee.
Both of you will need to be present with valid photo ID that very closely matches the names on the check. From that standpoint it would be just as easy to go to the bank together and have her added to the account. The total time that it will take will be about the same and there will be no fees involved.

You need to change banks. If she signed it go to another bank and open an account with the check and ask for some cash back.

If you and your wife, with proper ID, go to your bank and she endorses it to you, you will have no problem.

try a currency exchange but you both will need to be there
