I've broken down 03 times in the last year and I always had to wait an hour and a half at least. Whereas The AA claims to be with you within 40minutes. Has anyone experienced within 40 minutes recovery?

u must just be unlucky - i've called them out about 5 or 6 times during the 10 years that i've been driving, and they've always arrived between 30 and 45 mins after i've called them. hope u have better luck next time !

No, I have a motability car and when I joined the scheme we were with the AA, our car broke down and we had to wait almost 2 hours for them to get to us which is really bad as they're supposed to put women and disabled drivers first, the second time we had to call the AA out it took them just over an hour, thankfully the mobility scheme is now with RAC which is tons better all round and a fast service too, I would complain to the AA and tell them they are in breach of their advertising if they are taking longer than specified to reach you, its against the law to advertise something that cannot be done, good luck.

Yes. Couple of years ago a friend rang to say he had broken down. So I drove out to see if I could help. There was nothing I could do to help so I called the AA and pretended it was a car I had been driving. Two minutes later as we were arranging the story to tell the patrol an AA van drove up. He had been parked just down the road.

My pal got in my car and drove up the road. After his car was fixed I drove up the road to meet him and as we were changing cars the AA patrol drove past us. He gave us a very odd look.He must have worked out what was going on. Luckily he didn't report it.

Damn the AA for being so efficient.
