I've already got one which he was pissed off about me gettin but i wanna get another one and he sed no :( should i do it anyway!! or do u think i'll get dumped ??

My husband doesnt like tattoo's, I had none when we met, I now have 24, he loves me for me. I even talked him into getting a smiley on his shoulder just for me, its a bit smaller than a quarter, and people usually laugh cause its so small, but he did it for me!

I would (were it me) be curious on why he's so PO'ed about you getting one in the first place. I think that's an indication of problems, regardless of whether or not you want another.
Normally I'm a firm proponent of honesty, especially in a relationship, and I think that should be the case here. Capitulation and subjugation to one's bf/gf, no, but honesty yes. It makes for a stronger relationship to be honest on the important matters - white lies on how good a batch of cookies is don't count :) - or lets you know when a relationship has no future.
Whether you should tell him or not is not so much the issue here, however, but rather this is a relationship you should continue. You should never let a man - or a woman - tell you what to do with your body.

It's your body... But theres no point doing it behind his back coz I'm guessing it won't be all that long til he sees it :p Just tell him and do it...
Unless he has a very good reason for disliking tattoos (e.g. someone died from getting one) he'd have to be a pretty big loser to dump you over it...
But he would have the right to dump you if you lied and kept secrets!
Your choice!

Its your body and its up to no one but you what you do with it. If you want another tattoo then go for it. Its not up to your boyfriend to tell you if youre 'allowed' one. If he threatens to dump you, tell him to grow up. If hes that controlling then youre better off without him anyway

Why was he pissed? It is your body & if you want to decorate it that is your perogitive. You may get dumped but I think it may be better than having someone trying to control you.

I would dump him! No1 should tell you what to do with your body. My bf didnt want me to get my bridge done but i did it and he had to put up with it. Now i still have a lovely piercing but no bf (he was to controlling) and i cudnt be happier. Just get it done if he loves you it shouldnt be a problem. Just dont get his name tattoed lol.

Its not up to him what you do with your body. I do reccommend not having his name though. If you wanna do it, do it. But don't do it behind his back. Being secretive is worse than the offense of getting the tatoo. good luck

Errr Hello! Is he your boyfriend or your father?!!? He has no right to tell you what to do with your body and if he's going to dump you then he's not worth it. I love tattoos so I say GO AND GET ONE GIRL! GOOD ON YA!!!
