Don't. Get a symbol that represents your friendship but don't get the words "friends forever". Friends are like men, they come and go without prediction. A symbol is easier to have other reasons for IF it happens that way. Any idea if you like it is get your parents (like the end years) paired with your birth years. It would be unique all the way around and have personal meaning beyond friends forever. Talk to an artist if you still aren't sure.

If you do this make sure you get something that symbolizes the friendship. No names or BFF or anything along those lines. As much as you like each other now you never know what the future may hold. A picture like the heart or star you suggested would be fine. Later on in life if things change you can have the tattoo covered up or leave it as a reminder.

Well I feel that really u don't need to get the bff or names because, u never know what will happen. But I lyk the heart suggestion u have. A good idea is if u get the same exact tattoo. For example, u can have a rose thats blue with hearts flowing around it. U know thats just an example. But do wat u do. But, dont do anyhting you'll regret.

My best friend and I have been best friends since the first day of kindergarten, and we decided about a year ago to get each other's names on our shoulder blades on our backs and work some stars into it.. Best friends count in your life, there one of the most important people in your life, they're like your second family, but some they're the only family they know..

So I'd get something with each other's names, and working forever in with it, Good Luck with your decision..

If you really are serious about this, I would not get a best or friends tattooed on. Try to get something unique that maybe both of you are interested in and get matching tats. Names on tats are always a bad omen. When you are around people show them off and tell why they match. Take it from someone who has many tats and has seen many names on tats that were very regrettable!!

why don't you get her and yourself a locket with face pictures instead. My best friend did this for me and I still have it and wear it even though she no longer lives in the us. My locket has her picture in it and she has my picture. I think this is a better idea because you can take it off instead of having something so permanent. what if you guys break up, then you will still have a tatoo.

I think that the whole "BFF" is really childish and very cyber! My best friend and I have been trying to think of a symbol of friendship to symbolise our bond and friendship we have been friends for 15 years and our kids are 6 months apart. We have been looking into different buddah symbols.

I would do something like Xiomara suggested.
My best friend and I are going to get matching tattoos of three butterflies, one representing her, one for me, and one for our friend who died in a car crash a year ago.

Try to avoid words or initials, if you ever have a falling out, it'd be harder to explain the "Friends Forever," than it would a little symbol.

DONT DO IT!!!! well not any time soon...find the right tattoo then wait a year or two to get it! dont get matching tattoos either... get something that when the two of you r together you can put them together and its something AMAZING! like find a awesome design.. and split it in half... one of you gets one half and the other gets the other half... BE DIFFERENT! and that way its something no one else will have
