There are 2 methods I know of. The easiest is to simply change your country settings in windows to make it look like you are running on a japanese machine. The other method is to run an emulation program that simulates running on a japanese machine.

Depending on the exact piece of software and how it was coded, one or both methods may or may not work. Typically the windows setup is more reliable than the emulation method.

The first few screens of the link provided below show how to setup WinXp for handling Japanese. You can stop after the point where you change the "Language for non-Unicode programs." The following stuff sets it up for Japanese input, which you'll want to skip, unless you actually have a japanese keyboard.

Check this out.On the red Y on yahoo toolbar click it and down the bottom of list on the left.Click on yahoo international It changes page's to different country's.Not sure about anything else on it,but take a look may be what you want.
