i always use it and leave it on for 40mins

My Mom only uses that brand. She has really thick and long hair so we leave it in 25. I used it and have very short hair and I only left it in for like 15 to 20 and it did a great job. So I think it really depends on hair length and if you have thick or thin hair.

Read the box.... i can't tell you because it depends on how much you want the color to come in and your hair length and type.
