There are no full-time pari-mutuel race tracks of any kind in the state of Mississippi (thoroughbred, harness or greyhound). I found an article about a harness racing training facility at Mississippi State University in Starkville, but no legal pari-mutuel facilities. I do not know if any county fairs that might offer harness racing during their fairs, but that is more than likely going to be your best bet in Mississippi.

I know they have harness races at the Neshoba County Fair near Philadelphia. The fair usually runs the first full week of August or right in that area I think. You may be able to find info on the fair online, contact someone involved and find more races in the state. I would think that they could at least point you toward some harness racing enthusiasts. Good luck.

i'm not familiar with any. a list of tracks and info about them is here http://www.ustrotting.com/trackside/trackfacts/trackfacts.cfm

mississippi is in the bible belt and i'm not aware of any horse tracks in mississippi, alabama, georgia or tennessee. it's considered gambling and a threat to the moral integrity of it's citizens.
