Well, for a start, your friend isn't using correct English in terms of his/her spelling. 'U' is a 'text speak' version of the word 'you', and 'muppett' is him/her misspelling the word 'muppet'. 'Muppet' is a colloquial British English word for 'idiot' but in a friendly way, often used between friends. It comes from the Jim Henson show 'Muppets Tonight', where several hand-operated puppets hosted a show, however Henson decided to call them 'muppets. The name stuck.
