Catnip, chamomile, cramp bar, kava kava, hops, linden flower, motherwort, passionflower, and skullcap promote relaxation and aid in preventing panic attacks.
St. John's wort can ease depression and restore emotional stability. Results in mood should be noticed in approximately two to four weeks.
Get regular exercise. Any type of exercise will work-- a brisk walk, bicycle riding, swimming, aerobics, or whatever fits your individual lifestyle. After a few weeks of regular exercise, most people notice an improvement in anxiety symptoms.

I too have a problem with anxiety. I was taken to the ER. I don't know how bad yours is but vitamins, exercise, and good diet are key. You also need to find out what is making you anxious and resolve it. Make needed changes to take care of yourself. I learned I have to put myself first alot of times. If I don't take care of myself I cant take care or help others. Sometimes too if we are selfish that can cause anxiety. Or we want what we want and can't have it for one reason or another. Impatience is another reason. There are many reasons ya gotta find yours. I don't know if you've been under alot of stress or not but if you look up adrenal gland fatigue you will find it very interesting.

Hmmm...Im nt sure but Id say, just talk to someone u feel close to, then wrap up in the warm clean duvets, have a glass of hot milk with honey melted in it (like 2 spoons), and watch a comedy. Tell urself and get someone to tell you that everything will be ok, then distract ur mind. Like i said, watch a movie by urself or woth a close friend, brother or sista, and get some pancakes with ice cream!

Aroma therapy is pretty good.. you find the scent that calms you and you keep a small vial with the scent of it around and when you feel that 'wave' about to hit you you sniff the scent. For most guys its the smell of fresh baked bread.. and for women its vanilla or peach scent. I used to keep a peach scented candle in my purse for years. They have the vials and many health places.. or just pick up a votive candle with the scent.

I take it twice a day and I think it works. Deep breathing also helps when tension builds up.
Valerian is another over the counter product, but hold your nose when putting it in your mouth. It stinks, but works great!
Think of getting a dog or cat! They help!
