People in general disappoint. You have to learn to mix the good and bad. If you have NO expectations than it generally works better. Try being gay, it is even worse for me. Love in general I believe is like a joke. You go through the motions to find out about them and then fall in love with them then things go down hill, well be it a month, year or years...BUT the human heart and body needs love and it is undeniable.

I sort of feel the same way you do except I think it will be hard for me to love someone because I hate to open myself up completely to people because I don't like to be hurt. I know there is no one out there that will meet all of my expectations just as I know I will not meet all of the expectations of the person I am with, but I definitely understand where you are coming from.

No, it's not wrong to not want to love someone. People are disappointing but then so are you. Someone has to be willing to take a chance on you and if they are, why not take a chance on them also?
Life is filled with disappointments, does this mean we should stop living?

being loved means to give love too. in dating, you must consider you partner's feeling too. when you're disappointed by your mate, you to think about what have both of you done wrong, don't keep on blaming your mate without knowing the truth. i am sure everybody will get their own mates, just need more time.

it is very seldom that a person will live up to anyones expectations.. the truth is, sometimes we need to lower our expectations and not live in a dream world.. reality is reality. all people are different and live and think differently.
