What is the government doing about tracking down and deporting illegal immigrants in the UK, what can we do to help, should we be able to report any if we know where they are, and if so who can we report them to, do you think the government should be harder on them?

Get rid of them. Im sick of tired of the liberal government and people like the idiot 'manforallseasons'. Ive lost count of how many illegals from some of these lawless african countries have murdered someone in the uk. Im sure some of these liberals may change their tune when a friend or member of their family is on the recieving end of an unpleasant encounter with an illegal immigrant.

Im sick of listening to people like john ried coming on the tv and apologising every 8 months or so for a total f**k up that everyone in the public said would happen. Stop voting for the usual parties, Vote UKIP so we can rule our own country and let the people start deciding how our country should be run.

Nothing. They're encouraging them. It enables employers to save money by employing illegals who won't ask for rights like minimum wage and other things they're entitled to by law. I worked for a firm a year or so ago and there were loads of illegals from Pakistan working there. Noone ever said a thing about it. These people were not paying any tax or anything! But they were still using the NHS.

Its a ******* joke!

Please refer any information you have to your local immigration office (or if in London to the enforcement offices). A previous answer of mine goes some way on this....

Sadly - though your average enforcement officer would love to sweep each and every offender off the streets and remove the whole darn lot of them, there are a stack of operational factors which impact on denuns. The Immigration Service gets hundreds of such calls/letters each and every day, yet our acute lack of resources (detention and staff), combined with government priorities (FAS, annoying Bulgarians who don't have a work permit etc) and other impact factors (removeability issues, asylum claims, internal policy, judicial review) mean that suceess is hard won.

Please don't think you are any more frustrated that the officers in the front line - cos I can guarantee you that you are not.

they can do nothing, there are far too many it would take up far too much time and paper work.
then they will most likely all go to appeal because they will claim that if they 'go home' they will be killed.
the UK is a soft touch for them, they know they will be pretty safe here....the problem is that you can guarantee a small percentage of the illegals will also be members of some terrorist group....and this scares me, combined with the 'preachers' on seemingly every street corner now telling their countrymen to join the fight against the west and we are in trouble.

Turning a blind eye so the fat cats can exploit them - Look at cockle pickers in Morecombe Bay. It is the little people who face so called justice not those getting rich on the back of illegal immigrants. Over 5,000 exploited sex workers and 3,000 children who are illegal immigrants used for under age sex. You tell me who is in the wrong?

this government are not doing anything to track or deport illegal immigrant, i should know because im married to one!!
he has been here for 6 years, he has never claimed any benefits and he has worked in jobs where he was only paid £1.50 per hour. He pays for all his health/dental care etc, unlike a lot of british people who sit on benefits for years and keep shooting out babys so they dont need to go back to work.
The immigration know where he is and have never bothered to come and get him, and he has also applied twice to go back to his own country but they will not allow him to.
He is basically stuck here, he can not leave but not allowed to stay. I work full time to support myself, my husband and my children. My husband isnt allowed to work, and has on numerous times has applied for a national insurance number but was refused.

Even if you did report them, no one gives a c**p especially not the government or the Home Office.

Oh and my husband is from kurdistan (Iraq) and only came here to save his own life, but since coming here he has been left to rot, infact animals have more rights than he does!!

nothing. why do you want them to do someting when illegals can provide cheaper services and do not use public services that much.
let me give you a tip, you can employ an illegal tax free and pay them whenever you wish at the cheapest rate you can think of.
ask Tony and his rival Gordon most of the dirty jobs and labour intensive jobs like farmwork and care for the elderly is done by these people, infact they are not a nuisense coz they rarely report sick for work and have virtualy no complaints, a boost for the economy dont you think?
